Xian, China

Xian, Shaanxi province, is the oldest walled city in China. We took a trip there for a long weekend to see some of the sights in and around this ancient capital city.

We enjoyed the trip, but were quite ready to get back to Hong Kong after just a few days. If you thought the pollution in Causeway Bay is bad, you ain't seen nothing yet!

Sights below include the famous Terra Cotta Soldiers (thousands of buried full-sized terra-cotta figures), the Wild Goose Pagoda, the city wall, several temples, and the city bell tower. We neglected to take pictures of the outdoor meat rendering in the small alleyways - we hope you don't mind the oversight.
